“Arhaus” custom built in 2003, sits at the top the North end of Lake Joseph like a modern day fortress of Muskoka comfort.
Minutes from Rocky Crest Golf Resort and a small airport.
From the road into the property you’ll notice a clearing. The closest trees removed leaving wide open spaces surrounding the cottage. A 2 car garage, cedar shakes and copper flashing invite you to the main deck and entrance.
Entering the halls of the main room and open concept kitchen you immediately notice overhead, pine ceilings gliding together openly at dizzying heights. You can easily get a much closer look at the post and beam peg work, and craftsmanship of the trim created onsite from the high walk ways that make up the upper levels leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms of this spacious 3400 square foot main cottage.
As you step out onto the deck on the Southside overlooking the water, which encompasses the entire building, pines begin to spring up again. The grounds down to the shoreline have been heavily landscaped with round granite, leveling out plateaus that lower gradually to the water.
Enormous carved flagstone pathways lead to the shorelines focal point, a triple slip, 2 story boathouse completely wrapped in multiple levels of decking, down to a massive main dock. The upper level of the boathouse is fully outfitted as a guest house, including a walk out balcony over the water.
“Arhaus” the north star of Lake Joseph.
